Hello,

since about 18:00 yesterday my internet connection stopped working, went briefly on again and then off since then.
The LED "Fibre" on the fiber box is not on any more, so it looks that the problem is on the fibre side.
What can be done?

Well it turned out I was disconnected because I was sending put "multicast packets".

Nothing was changed on my side, though, other than upgrading an iMac to the latest version of OSX
earlier that day.

I find this a bit blunt, being disconnected without any notice or warning or information,
my questions how to proceed from now not being answered meaningfully, all internet and phones down for the time being.
Will the situation just stay like this? What can I do to change it?
