Hello,

Since at least Wednesday 19:00 my router doest not get an IP address from the cable modem. I have restarted the modem several times, no luck.

Are there any maintenance or known problems in this service area?

Hello ak0ska,

The SIEA is migrating all the customers in your neighborhood from one "PM" to a different one.  They started working on it last Tuesday and should be done next week (10/10/2019).

However the maintenance window is every day between 8am and 6pm and they announced that customers shouldn't be impacted for more than 3 hours within that window. This doesn't seem to be the case for you.

What do you call "cable modem", is it the black box which converts the fiber optic to ethernet, with 4 ethernet ports? If so, could you check which LEDs are on or blinking? (POWER, STATUS A, STATUS B, FIBRE)

Yes, I do mean the box which converts the fiber to 4 Ethernet ports. The status of the lights are as follows:
Power, Status A, Status B, and Ethernet 2 : constant light
Fiber: dark

So when can I expect the service to be restored?
Are the technicians doing the migration even aware that there is a problem?
